Key Projects and Roles

• Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT)
  As AVP of Operations, Anthony led the successful commissioning and compliance of the S700 fleet in just 2.5 months, meeting the crucial opening day deadline and ensuring that the fleet was fully operational and compliant with safety standards. This included overseeing all aspects of rail vehicle maintenance, track and signal systems, and substations.

• Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)
  As Manager of the $2.6 billion Fleet of the Future Project, Anthony was responsible for overseeing the commissioning of BART’s new vehicle fleet, ensuring that the railcars met all safety, operational, and reliability standards. He also managed the procurement of $90 million worth of capital spares and led the commissioning of millions of dollars in complex      diagnostic equipment to support ongoing maintenance. Anthony's leadership extended to resolving fleet reliability issues, improving maintenance programs, and refining operational manuals to ensure long-term performance.

• Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART)
  As Chief Mechanical Officer, Anthony played a pivotal role in establishing a new 43-mile commuter rail system, guiding it from inception to full operation. His expertise ensured a smooth launch with efficient maintenance and operational systems in place.

• Transdev
  While serving as Regional Manager of Maintenance and Operations, Anthony was instrumental in the successful start-up of streetcar operations in Milwaukee, Detroit, and Cincinnati. He helped guide these operations toward operational efficiency, troubleshooting early challenges and ensuring the systems' long-term viability.

• Nippon Sharyo
  As Director of Field Service and Engineering for North America, Anthony oversaw projects with key transit agencies such as Metra Rail in Chicago, VRE in Virginia, and Union Pearson Express in Toronto, working on high-tech Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs) and railcar deliveries. He was also integral to the startup of various systems, ensuring vehicles met all safety, operational, and commissioning requirements.

• Madison Metro Transit
  In his role as Chief Maintenance Officer, Anthony managed the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, which included the introduction of new electric buses, charging infrastructure, new stations, and workforce development, ensuring the seamless integration of these innovations into Madison’s public transportation system.
